Public transport in the Chamonix valley

Taking public transport has many advantages both individually and collectively. They represent an ecological alternative to the private car, thus contributing to the reduction of air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. By opting for public transport, users participate in preserving the environment and in the fight against climate change.

Application chamonix mobility : for bus reservation and ticket purchase. Single tickets are €2.

La Guest card available at reception giving the following advantages: 

  • La free circulation on the SNCF network Mont Blanc Express for internal journeys between the municipalities of Servoz and Vallorcine during the validity of the card
  • A reduction going up to 50% on transport tickets for the new bus network Chamonix Mobility which comes into force from December 4, 2023.
  • Discounts on certain museums and exhibitions in the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc valley
  • Reductions on your entrance to the swimming pool and ice rink at the Richard Bozon Sports Center 

The 1 trip bus ticket: 

  • 1.50€ purchased in advance 
  • 2.00€ bought on the bus 

Day rates (valid from 5:10 a.m.: 1st day > 21 p.m. last day) – the customer who has the guest card benefits from -50% on tickets: 

  • 2-day ticket: €4,00 
  • 3-day ticket €5,00 
  • 4-day ticket €6,00 
  • 5-day ticket €7,00 
  • 6-day ticket €8,00 
  • Weekly ticket €9,00

as well as free travel on the valley train between Servoz and Vallorcine.

To benefit from these rates, they need the guest card available at reception free of charge. This has a QR CODE which allows customers to go directly to the “Chamonix mobilite” site or application and buy tickets. 

The bus that goes to us is number 11 which takes you to the Domaine de Flégère, it passes every 30 minutes during school holidays and then by reservation the rest of the year (reservation 1 hour in advance at the latest). The customer then has the possibility to change at the “Les tines” stop and change buses or take the train if they wish to go to the city center or another area. 

“We are lucky to see our village Le Lavancher connected to the public transport network of the city of Chamonix. Less than a two-minute walk away, shuttle number 11 runs every 30 minutes (by reservation outside school periods) to drop you off at the foot of the slopes in the Flégère area. A little further, at the bottom of the village, a 10-minute walk from our establishment, bus number 2 passes, which takes you either to the Grands Montets domain or to the Le Tour domain. 

The bus ticket costs €2, ask for your guest card at reception to benefit from a discount on your journeys.”
