Every weekend, Chef Mathilde creates a sweet and savory buffet that appeals to both early birds and those who love to sleep in. Golden pastries, fresh fruit, fine cheeses, delicate charcuterie, elaborate hot dishes, and homemade desserts: a generous, colorful, and refined spread—designed as a journey between morning and noon. A barbecue is included , prepared by the chef with a view of the Mont Blanc massif.

In summer, brunch is served in the hotel gardens , overlooking the panoramic views of the Mont Blanc massif. A moment to share with family or friends, in the verdant and unspoiled setting of Le Lavancher.

Lunch & BBQ — Bistro and grill with mountain views

At midday, La Table du Lavancher transforms into a sun-drenched bistro. The daily special is a barbecue grill —aged cuts of meat prepared by the chef over the embers, accompanied by daily side dishes and desserts from the menu. The fresh mountain air, the crackling of the coals, the panoramic views of the Mont Blanc massif: lunch is enjoyed indoors or on the terrace, depending on the season, accompanied by a selection of mountain wines and house cocktails.

A perfect stop between two hikes, after a morning of skiing or before a treatment at spaAnd for those who love fine dining, come again in the evening. The Rosebud Restaurant, cited by the guides, where chef Mathilde signs a menu of alpine and contemporary inspiration.

Aperitifs & pétanque around the fire pit

When the golden light of evening settles on the peaks, head to the hotel gardens for a warm aperitif around the fire pit . Homemade cocktails, sharing platters, relaxed atmosphere: extend the day at your own pace, a pétanque ball in hand, with the panoramic view over the valley all the way to Argentière and Le Tour.

The chef — Mathilde Walisko

With ten years of experience in Lyon, the gastronomic capital, and as European vice-champion of offal products , Mathilde Walisko brings to La Table du Lavancher her passion for quality ingredients and the transmission of traditional techniques. She creates menus that celebrate Alpine terroir while remaining accessible, generous, and bistro-style.

Mathilde creates sincere cuisine that can be enjoyed facing the majestic panorama of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc — bistro in its simplicity, alpine in its roots, generous by nature.
