On Saturday, June 22, 2025, the village of Lavancher will fire up its bread oven again and invites residents and visitors to celebrate. This tradition, maintained by the association " Les Amis du Lavancher " (Friends of Lavancher), continues year after year.
The Chalet Hotel of the Jeu de Paume
Villagers of all ages are rejoicing and getting involved – it's a no-brainer! – in preparing for the festivities.
Most of them are members of the association, including the chalet hotel of the Jeu de Paume, an establishment restored by the architect G. Prache who has kept it in his family circle for over 30 years.
An exceptional heritage
Let's not be mistaken! In Lavancher, the exceptional heritage is offered to us by nature; every resident of Lavancher knows this and intends to preserve it.
But the families who live in this charming village also know that the first houses were already there in the 1730s and the village oven since 1820.
